Former head of "Unimatic" Igor Fishelev obtained UK passport and transferred the company to his son

Igor Fishelev, the chairman of the board at the Sverdlovsk-based company "Unimatik," has acquired citizenship in the United Kingdom.

Fishelev previously owned Unimatik himself, before transferring the business to his son, Oleg Fishelev. The company supplies machinery to Rostec’s “Plant No. 9” (which produces guns for Russian tanks) and “Verkhneturinsky Machine-Building Plant” (which manufactures shell casings for field and tank artillery).

Even after February 2022, Unimatik continued importing products from Germany, Austria, Serbia, and Latvia.
